GUSTOZO
Description
Taste fresh and soft, the peculiarity of this cheese is the sweet taste of milk. A few years ago, in a drawer of an old cabinet of the dairy, it was found an old recipe that the company was using when he was born, at the end of 1800. The cheese, made with simple ingredients of the area, was deemed to be so good that the same recipe brings the record "very Gustozo". However, they were difficult times in our area and this cheese was intended only to "gentlemen" who could pay dearly. It is said, however, that the dairyman, attracted by the expectations created by a cousin who had emigrated to America a few years earlier, he stole the recipe of this cheese and embarked, almost secretly, on a ship bound for the New World. So the recipe and its Gustozo cheese seemed lost forever. Today, thanks to the discovery of the ancient Venetian recipe Dairies revives this "very Gustozo" cheese.
